Send from Gmail (by Google) is an extension for Google Chrome browser that will make Gmail as your default email application for Chrome. This means that when you click on any email link (“mailto” links) on any web page in Chrome, instead of opening your desktop email program such as Outlook Express, your Gmail account will be invoked and a Gmail Compose mail window will open automatically. This will enable you to send the email to that email address using your Gmail account.
Send from Gmail (by Google) extension also provides a button which, when clicked, will create an email message in your Gmail account. This email message will automatically use the page title as the subject and the selected page text and link address as the message. Thus, this extension will also allow you to quickly share a link with your friends by an email from your Gmail account.
