If you are having two Gmail accounts, you can easily import all emails existing in one Gmail account to another. This will include importing the old emails existing in that Gmail account. This will help you to have all your mail in a single Gmail account which eases the process of managing all the mail. If you so wish, you can even import the mail arriving in one Gmail account into another account as and when the mail arrives in the first account in future.
This article is about importing all mail from one Gmail account to another. If you want to import all email from some other email account (such as Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail, AOL, etc.) into your Gmail account, then read my article Import mail and contacts into Gmail from other accounts. Likewise, if you want to import all contacts from one Gmail account to another, you can read my earlier article How to import contacts from one Gmail account to another.
OK, let me begin. Gmail makes it quite easy to import all mail from one Gmail account to another; however, you have to dig into the settings in your Gmail accounts to learn that process. Here is the step-by-step guide to do so.
(1) Login to your first Gmail account from where the existing mail have to be imported. Now, click Settings and then in the Settings menu-bar, click Forwarding and POP/IMAP option. Under the heading POP Download, check what is the Status of POP, i.e., whether it is enabled or disabled. If it is already enabled, then directly proceed to the next step. If the POP status is shown as disabled (as in figure below), then do as under:

Select the option Enable POP for all mail, as shown in the above figure, and then click Save Changes button. You’ll get the message that “Your preferences have been saved”.
(2) Now, again go to Settings and then to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP option. Under the heading POP Download, you’ll now notice the screen of the following type (with status of POP now shown as enabled):

Since we are interested in exporting even the existing emails in this Gmail account, select the option “Enable POP for all mail (even mail that’s already been downloaded)”, as shown in the above figure. Now click Save Changes button. You’ll get the confirmation message that “Your preferences have been saved”.
(3) At this stage, you have finished making necessary changes to our first Gmail account. So, log out from this Gmail Account.
(4) Now, log in to the second Gmail account into which you want to import the emails (from the above first Gmail account).
(5) In the second Gmail account, click Settings, and then under the Settings menu-bar, select the option Accounts and Imports. You’ll see the following screen:

(6) From the above screen, under the heading Check mail using POP3, click on the button saying Add POP3 email account. A new popup window will open as under:

(7) Enter your first Gmail account information in the text-box from which you want to import your emails. Now, click the Next Step button. The following window will now appear on the screen:

(8) Enter the password for your first Gmail account (from which you want to import the mail). In the POP Server drop-down list-box, select the pop.gmail.com option. You can select a label to identify the emails being imported so that they could be distinguished from the regular emails of the second Gmail account. For example, I have created a new label called “MyImportedMail”. See, the figure above and check whether you have filled in the correct information. Now, click on the Add Account button. If your operation was successful, you’ll get the success message like the following:

That’s it! Now, your emails from the first Gmail account will be imported into your second Gmail account. This will include the existing emails in the first Gmail account. If you’re not able to immediately see the imported emails in your second Gmail account, have patience. It may take some time (even up to a few hours) to import all the emails into the second Gmail account, depending upon the number/size of emails to be imported and the load on the Gmail servers. But, the emails would be imported for sure.
