Do you regularly download files from RapidShare? Are you frustrated with the annoying time delay for downloading a file from it? In an earlier article, I had reviewed a free RapidShare Plus utility that could automatically download files from RapidShare. Now, there is a browser extension available for Google Chrome, called RapidShare Download Helper that can automate the process of downloading files from RapidShare for you by auto-detecting the countdowns and by automatically starting downloads when the countdowns are over.
RapidShare Download Helper extension automatically monitors time limitations for downloading files and auto-starts download of the selected file. So, with this extension, you can simply initiate the download process and thereafter it can automatically take care of the download process and you need not stay on RapidShare site due to time limitations waiting for the download to start. You can continue browsing while this extension does its job. Have a look at the following figure where RapidShare Download Helper extension is in action:
However, please note that this extension will not circumvent or stop the countdown for downloading a file from RapidShare. What it actually does it to auto-start the download of the file after the countdown ends so that you don’t have to wait for the countdown; this means that you need not wait or keep rechecking whether the countdown has stopped and simply keep browsing the web while the extension does its job.
