Kutano is a browser extension / add-on for Mozilla Firefox that allows you to find out the tweets and comments about the web page that is currently open in your browser. These tweets and comments are displayed in a sidebar beside the web page that you’re viewing. This allows you to see what other people have said or commented on Twitter about that web page. Thus, you can see Twitter in action about each web page that you view in your Firefox browser; and, you read these tweets / comments in context right beside the web page itself. Kutano is also supported on Google Chrome browser as an extension (for Beta version 4.0 onwards) and Internet Explorer.
Kutano thus allows you to easily find out other Twitter users who are interested in the same web page. Moreover, you can interact with such other Twitter users through replies or through easy-to-follow group discussions that can also be found directly beside the web page. Moreover, Kutano also brings your Twitter timeline, replies, direct messages and follow and unfollow notifications into your browser directly.
Kutano can thus help you to read, reply to and create discussions and tweets about any web page you browse. In fact, it also displays comments from Google Sidewiki about the web page that you’re currently viewing in your browser. Thus, you can read opinions and conversations on Twitter and Google Sidewiki about a web page at the same place. As mentioned above, you can also comment easily with the help of Kutano about each web page; moreover, it can also alert you when some other person replies to your comments.

Thanks for posting! An additional, Twitter-related feature is the “follow/unfollow” timeline that shows you who started and stopped following you and when. We’ve also just added geo-location and video/picture embedding features so that you can look at maps, watch videos and preview pictures directly from Kutano while browsing.
