January 22, 2010, Category: Internet

Firefox 3.6 version Mozilla has released the latest 3.6 version of the popular browser Firefox after months of testing beta versions and release candidates. Mozilla claims that the Firefox 3.6 version is 20% faster. One of the major changes made is the Personas feature that allows you to personalize the look of Firefox by selecting the persona of your choice. Personas are themes that can be changed with a click. You’ve more than 30,000 personas to choose from.

The plugin updater in the new version will check the out of date plugins installed in your Firefox; this will help you from security vulnerabilities that may be caused by using outdated plugins. Firefox 3.6 also includes Form Complete feature to suggest information for fields when you fill up an online form. Another major update is the full support for the HTML 5 that will allow you to view supported videos without plugins; it supports full screen videos and poster frames. Firefox 3.6 is stated to have also improved JavaScript performance and stability.
