PowerPoint 2007 - how to insert web pages into a presentation If you’ve a PowerPoint presentation in which one or more slides refer to web pages or interact with web, then you’ve two options. First option is: stop the PowerPoint presentation for a moment; open your browser and show the web interaction or web pages in your browser; and then, again shift back to your PowerPoint presentation and continue with the next slide. The second option is to insert the web pages in your PowerPoint presentation itself and view those web pages and interact with them directly from within the PowerPoint slides. Of course, the second option is much easier and convenient. Yes, it is possible to insert and view web pages directly in/from your PowerPoint presentation.

What you need is LiveWeb that is a free add-on for Microsoft PowerPoint. LiveWeb is available for all versions of PowerPoint. There is one version of LiveWeb that works for PowerPoint 97 version to 2003 version; and there is another version of it that works for PowerPoint 2007. Both of them are available at its site for free download.

When you insert web pages into a PowerPoint presentation using LiveWeb, you can easily refresh the web pages in real-time during slide show and display them without leaving your PowerPoint slide show. Inserting web pages in PowerPoint slides with LiveWeb is quite easy and you don’t require to do any coding. Simply follow easy steps through Wizards and supply the URLs of the web pages. In fact, LiveWeb also allows you to display PDF documents, java applets, etc., within the slide show in real-time.

LiveWeb consists of two components. The first one is the Wizard component that creates a list of web sites that you wish to add to your slides. The second one is the Real-time Update component that automatically refreshes the web page every time you visit the slide which contains the web browser control.
