If you want to know about the system configuration of your computer / laptop, there are many ways of doing it. Windows has some inbuilt utilities to display the system information either in the summary form or in detailed form about the system configuration. In this article, I’ll explain as to how you can easily find out your detailed system configuration using a free utility called System Spec.
System Spec (or SysSpec) is a free software to find out detailed specifications of your computer’s hardware and software. It allows you to view, save and print the complete system specifications of your computer. It also provides advanced information relating to the CPU, drives, CD / DVD drives, memory, display, networking, internet, applications, and more on your PC. Have a look at its main window:

Being a free utility, it is worth using software to know details of your system. This may help you to know about the system configuration to make it sure that your laptop or desktop has the same configuration as was promised by your hardware vendor at the time of purchase. Even at a later stage, you may need information about your system configuration for upgrading it or for diagnosing it or for other purposes. System Spec will be handy at such times.
